We know we've done a good job when you call us for the next one.
At EMPCO we are dedicated to providing our clients with the very best in steelmaking technology.
We intend to serve our customers better than our competitors. We will live up to our commitments by doing what we say we are going to do, when we say we are going to do it; we will deliver the services and products our customers need, when and where they need them, and will do it at a price that allows us to compete in the marketplace.
Company Philosophy
ABOUT EMPCO
Building electrometallurgical equipment is complex, unforgiving work. It demands precision, deep technical expertise, and disciplined execution. There is no room for guesswork. Our team is built to get it right the first time, because in this industry, rework is cost, downtime, and risk.
We compete by delivering equipment that performs exactly as specified, on schedule, and under real operating conditions. No ambiguity, no missed targets. When we commit to a timeline or a spec, we back it with the engineering, manufacturing, and accountability required to deliver.
Every project we take on carries responsibility. Once we commit, we follow through. That means clear communication, dependable timelines, and solutions that work in the field, not just on paper. We work with customers, suppliers, and partners as professionals who expect the same standard we hold ourselves to.
We are a manufacturing business, and performance matters. Profit is the result of doing the job right, building reliable equipment, and maintaining long-term relationships.
That success supports our team and the communities we operate in.

Our Qualifications?
Weld integrity is critical in electrometallurgical equipment. EMPCO systems operate under extreme thermal, mechanical, and chemical stress, where weld performance directly impacts reliability, safety, and service life.
Certified welding inspectors ensure all welds meet specified codes and engineering requirements, with full traceability and documented verification. Inspection is not a formality, it is a control point that prevents defects, reduces rework, and minimizes the risk of premature failure in high-temperature applications.
By enforcing disciplined inspection standards throughout fabrication, EMPCO delivers equipment that performs as designed under real operating conditions. The result is fewer shutdowns, lower maintenance demand, and greater confidence in long-term operation.
All inspection practices align with recognized standards, including CSA W178.2, with cross-recognition from AWS, TWI, and API where applicable, ensuring consistency and compliance across projects and jurisdictions.
